Press what you remember
Most shortcut lists ask you to already know the answer. This one searches by the keys themselves: hold Ctrl and Shift and the list narrows to the shortcuts that start that way, then add the letter you think it was. Ribbon routes such as Alt, H, O, I work the same way, one step at a time
The keys are the ones on a Windows keyboard, and each entry names the physical key rather than the character a shifted key types, so the combination published as Ctrl+Shift+* appears here as Ctrl+Shift+8. The ribbon routes follow the key tips of English-language Excel, which another Office display language relabels. Everything runs in this tab, and nothing you press is recorded
Click here, then press a shortcut. Hold the keys of a chord together, and press the keys of a ribbon route one after another
Keys count in the order you press them, the order each shortcut shows. Backspace removes the last key, Escape clears the sequence, and Tab moves on to the buttons below, so search for those three keys with the buttons. A few combinations belong to the browser or to Windows and never reach this page, Ctrl+W and Alt+F4 among them
